Capture your small treasures in unique, personalised bangles and rings. In our Resin Jewellery Making Workshop you will learn how to embed objects in clear, transparent or translucent resin. Bring your own small personal items and objects to embed for eternity in resin.
If you’ve ever been curious about how resin jewellery is made and how to encase objects this is the perfect workshop for you. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those that have worked with resin before. Learn about different types of resin, mixing resin, using moulds, pouring resin, embedding small objects, finishing and polishing your pieces. All tools and materials are supplied for you to make 2 bangles and 2 rings. Bring along small objects like beads, sequins, small keepsakes, trinkets, glitter, small images, ribbons, trims, fabric pieces or even hundred and thousands to inlay in your jewellery pieces.
This workshop is intimate and personalised, with a maximum of 5 people per class. It is made up of 2 classes over 2 consecutive days to allow time for the resin to set and cure.
About Nadine Sharpe
Nadine is a self-taught, make a million mistakes, learn as you go polymer clay enthusiast. She creates handmade jewellery using polymer clay, resin and rope for her label Own Sweet Time. She left her mind-numbing corporate job in HR & Training a few years ago to unleash her creative side. She wants to combine her love for polymer clay and previous training experience to bring you a practical, hands-on workshop that will get you excited to continue creating at home!
