With Susan Goodwin from Measure Twice Cut Once
Come and learn how to make your own knickers! Using the Charlotte pattern from Measure Twice Cut Once you will be shown how to cut your fabric on the bias and then taken step by step through creating a gusset, assembling your knickers, attaching and top stitching elastic. Time permitting there will also be a discussion regarding additional trims that could be used.
Students must bring 1 metre length of cotton fabric of their choice to class to make a classic, brief style knicker. Fabric must be washed and ironed. The pattern is included and downloadable so it can be printed and assembled. Elastic and cotton jersey for gusset will be provided.
