Get together with fellow Sydney Spoolettes at Sew Make Create for a fun-filled CRAFTernoon!
This event is a chance for us to catch up, chat, drink tea/coffee and craft the afternoon away under the watchful eye of Pepper, the shop dog.
Please bring along your small crafts (things like knitting, crochet, hand-sewing, beading, cross-stitch, whatever).
Please note: this is NOT a sewing day – but a day for small crafting. There will be sewing machines available for people whose handicraft does require a sewing machine for parts however.
There is a $15 fee for the event that includes venue hire, tea/coffee and a few snacks. It would be nice if everyone could bring along a snack too to share – cake/biscuits/whatever. Home made baked goods and snacks will be warmly received!
The maximum the venue can hold is 24 people.
Please note, you must pay your $15 event fee directly to Sew Make Create in order for your booking to be confirmed.
Registrations will close 3 days before the event FYI.
Who are the Sydney Spoolettes?
On 5 March 2014, a small group of people came together and created the Sydney Spoolettes; a sister group to the London Spoolettes. This group came together as they shared a common thread, in that they shared a passion for sewing.
They thought it would be a great idea to get other sewers together to socialise over this hobby/craft and so this Facebook group was born.
The aim of this page is for sewers to engage with each other, whether it be in person or by reaching out to others online. We understand that people have lives etc. and that they may not be able to make our real life events, so we encourage you to reach out on the page; give a like, make a comment, say hello.
