This is a great introduction to handmade skincare, perfect for kids aged 9 and up. And a fun filled day during the school holidays! They will immerse themselves in the world of natural aromas and create the fun collection of products.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, no previous experience is required. Attending our original, “Part 1″ workshop is not required to attend this workshop. For our students have previously attended our DIY Natural Skincare Workshop, this is our “Part 2″ workshop with some new and different products.
They will learn about a range of different ingredients that can be used to keep the skin feeling soft and smooth. The hands-on, interactive, 5 hour session will give them the skills and confidence to continue creating at home. They will learn how to make their own pampering skincare products for naturally healthy skin.

Included in the class is a detailed workbook with lots of information about the ingredients utilised in the class, recipes and tips so that you feel confident to continue making skincare at home. Ingredients used in the class are never tested on animals and are sourced through ethical suppliers. No experience is necessary, all ingredients and equipment supplied.
This workshop will be held at the Darlington Activity Centre, a spacious venue at 132-134 Shepherd Street, Darlington. It is located under 10 minutes walk from the Sew Make Create workshop.
Please get in touch if you need to drop your child off prior to 9:30am, or pick them up later than 3:00pm. We can try to offer extended care, but an additional fee will apply.

Polly & Lu run Sage Cosmetic Coaching and are your natural skincare teachers at Sew Make Create. Together they have over 20 years’ experience in the natural health and cosmetics industries. Their knowledge of essential oils is extensive, and they can’t wait to share their expertise with you!
Being mums to small humans and are conscious of synthetic ingredients often found in commercial skincare products. Utilising essential oils to create amazing natural blends is their passion and they love spending their days immersed in an aromatic world.
