This is an online workshop! We will send you a physical Materials Kit with all the special materials you need for your workshop (this may exclude some tools and materials you might have at home). The class fee includes shipping to anywhere in Australia. Please provide your postal address in the “Comments” when you make a booking. You should receive your Materials Kit within 1 week of booking.
This workshop will be delivered via the Zoom platform. You can download this program for free for any computer or device. 1 week prior to your class date you will be sent a link to the Zoom Meeting for your class. At the time of your class you can join the Meeting to join your class.
During the class, we will discuss easy ways to reduce the toxic load on our bodies and on our planet through homemade zero-waste, low-impact swaps. Whether this is your first DIY attempt, you are a hardcore DIYer or you just love skincare, this workshop is an excellent confidence builder in learning how to make some lovely, simple and satisfying skincare products at home.
All skin types are catered for and everyone is welcome! Please advise of any allergy issues or if you are pregnant when booking.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Please note you will need to have access and be able to use a stove top to make the balms.
This workshop is a collaboration with the City of Sydney Council, to provide affordable workshops and to connect our community. For this workshop date only the ticket price is 50% off its normal price of $80.
- Hand balm tin
- Glass perfume vial
- Vitamin E capsule
- Essential oil blend
- A digital booklet with heaps of recipes, processes and stockists, tips, tricks and best blogs for further making (shared after the class has taken place)
- Glass jar (any clean empty food jar works well as a beaker or heatproof pyrex jug)
- Measuring spoons/cups
- 80/100ml of any cooking oil (sunflower/rice bran/grapeseed/canola oil/coconut/olive/sesame)
