With Amanda Jackson from Manda Handmade with Love

Amigurumi (Ah-mee-goo-roo-me) = cute crocheted or knitted toys! If you like adorable handmade toys and are curious about amigurumi then this class is perfect for you!

Not only will you come away with a cute finished amigurumi bird or monster character, you will learn the basic skills to start your own amigurumi adventure.

In this class, you will learn to follow the commonly used amigurumi instructions, the general concept & construction, key crochet techniques, final assembly and some great tips and tricks. Bring your inner child, some imagination and the fun is limitless!

You need to have completed our Beginner’s Crochet Workshop or be of beginner skill level. This workshop is not for absolute beginners, you should know some basic crochet stitches and how to read patterns.

“The amigurumi teacher was fantastic and I learnt so much in the first class – she was a terrific teacher – after all these years I finally really understand where to put that darn hook!” - Sandy, attended the Beginner’s Amigurumi Crochet Workshop
