Register to be eligible for our FREE Sewing Workshop (BYO Project)! For Sew Make Create’s 13th Birthday we are running a series of free, creative workshops on Saturday 2nd August, 2025. Join us for the celebration and come and do some making with us!
How can you score a free ticket?
- Click on the “Book me in” button and fill in your details to register. You can register up to 2 tickets for any workshop. Register by Monday 28th July, 2025 at 5pm.
- You will get an email confirmation of your registration for each workshop if it has been received. This is not a successful booking confirmation.
- Successful ticket holders will be selected at random for each workshop, so everyone has an equal chance of getting a ticket.
- You will be notified by email on Tuesday 29th July, 2025 if you have been successful in securing a ticket. So keep an eye on your email.
- Make sure you reply to our email to claim your ticket. You must claim your ticket within 24 hours.
- You will receive a confirmation email with details about your workshop.
Sewists, Makers and Crafters! Join us in the Sew Make Create sewing studio to sew, use sewing machines and overlockers, do some mending, customise your clothes and get help from an experienced Teacher. Please bring your own projects, materials and sewing accessories. We have a small selection of supplies and fabrics available for purchase. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, aged 15 years old and up.
Come along and get inspired! Come and finish a sewing project, hem those pants, extend the life of your favourite garment, meet some other Makers or have a go at using a sewing machine.
About Catherine Carter
Catherine has been sewing as far back as she can remember. She graduated with honours at East Sydney Technical College, Darlinghurst with a diploma in “Fashion Design”. She established (many years ago) and is still running a successful business, “Catherine Carter”, specialising in made to measure garments, she is still as passionate as ever. Catherine enjoys sharing her enthusiasm, knowledge and creativity and finds it extremely rewarding seeing the progress that each person makes.
