With Nadine Sharpe
This workshop will take students step by step through how to make a mould of one of their favourite bangles and rings, or another appropriate piece, or use one of Own Sweet Time’s designs. This mould will be able to be used again and again to create further pieces at home.
While the mould is curing, students learn the art of resin casting, using Own Sweet Time’s silicone moulds to cast a bangle and a ring, in the colour of their choice. A second casting will then be done in the newly created moulds, learning more creative casting techniques. Using slow curing resin allows students to discover more creative casting techniques, including embedding objects and using fillers, as well as learning how to manipulate the resin for interesting results.
We will cover hand-sanding techniques, so the pieces will be finished to highest standards.
“The day was great! Nadine is a delight and made the whole workshop practical and fun! “ – Wendy attended our Mould Making & Resin Casting Workshop.
