About Angie White
Do you need some help with your sewing project? Maybe you would like to challenge yourself and start a new one? Do you have a half done project that deserves to be finished? Or just join us for a creative workshop, meet some new people over a cup of tea and share some sewing stories.
Bring your own project and materials to our Sewing Social Workshop where an experienced teacher will be present to assist you and give you tips on your current sewing project. You are welcome to use our workshop sewing machines, overlockers and facilities to work on your sewing, dress making, pattern making, fabric cutting, designing, alterations, mending and finishing touches.
Please note, you need to have recent sewing experience to attend this workshop. You should be of at least beginner level, and able to set up and operate a sewing machine independently. If you would like to learn how to sew to attend this workshop or you need a refresher you can attend our Introduction to Sewing Course.
“Thanks for running such an excellent programme – I loved it… I’ve been telling all my friends about the wonderful experience and encouraging them to come as well.”
– Maureen attended our Sewing Social Workshops
Safety in our workshop: Due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19 we endeavour to make our workshop as safe as possible for our workshop attendees, Teachers and customers. Spaces available for each class have been reduced to follow the current government guidelines so workshop attendees can be a safe distance apart. Every workshop attendee and Teacher will be required to use hand sanitiser on arrival. And all used surfaces and tools will be disinfected after every class. Please contact us if you have any inquiries.
