With Catherine Carter
Do you need some help with your sewing project? Maybe you would like to challenge yourself and start a new one? Do you have a half done project that deserves to be finished? Or just join us for a creative workshop, meet some new people over a cup of tea and share some sewing stories.
Bring your own project and materials to our Sewing Social Workshop where an experienced teacher will be present to assist you and give you tips on your current sewing project. Work on whatever you like while using our workshop sewing machines, overlockers and facilities. Pattern making, clothing alterations and repairs, dressmaking and sewing practice are just some of the projects you could do.
Please note, you need to have recent sewing experience to attend this workshop. You should be of at least beginner level, and able to set up and operate a sewing machine independently. If you would like to learn how to sew to attend this workshop or you need a refresher you can attend our Introduction to Sewing Course.
“Thanks for running such an excellent programme – I loved it… I’ve been telling all my friends about the wonderful experience and encouraging them to come as well.”
